We have moved our text and email service to from ParentMail to SchoolComms. This will mean that we can use the information you have already provided to the school to send emails and text messages, without you having to register yourselves. The registration process has caused considerable frustration for parents and carers over time and, in response to this, we have moved to what we hope will be an improved system.
A significant advantage of this system is that you can receive texts via an app (School Gateway) which will reduce our costs.
SchoolComms will only work with the mobile numbers you have given to the school. The administrative staff have been checking telephone numbers but we know that some of these are incorrect. Aside from the safety issues – we should always be able to contact you in an emergency – the app will only work with the number you have registered with us.
